If you're like me, you've tried on and bought a lot
of bras in your life. Maybe you’ve even been professionally
fitted like I did after seeing the OPRAH SHOW
on BRA INTERVENTION? I was fed up with the way
my bras made my back look. I thought it was the size
of the bra or the style that needed adjusting. So, working
with an "expert", I bought more bras in the recommended
sizes and styles. Still it was not much better., I began
to realize it wasn’t me, it was the bras; the elastic
bands were creating the back bulges I was seeing..
I needed to find a solution!
I looked everywhere trying to find a bra that could provide great support and shaping for my breasts and be able to keep my back smooth. Everything I tried left me disappointed. I did find a product that smoothed my back, but it had stretchy lycra fabric instead of REAL bra cups! Hey, I'm a C cup girl whose had 2 kids so I need a REAL BRA! I would ask myself “Why hasn’t anyone come up with something better?” I know I'm not the only girl wanting breast support and shaping without with back bulges. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. While my kids were at school, I went to work in my sewing studio trying to come up with something that would solve my bra dilema. After weeks of trial and error, I eventually had an amazing supportive real bra without elastic bands which kept my back smooth and made me look slimmer in my tighter tops. I took a few before and after photos of me to show my friends. The response was always "WOW!!! the difference is Unbelievable." (That’s where we came up with the name UNBELIEVA-BRA!)
I made some for my friends and they all said it was
the most comfortable bra they've ever worn. No more
falling straps, no more underwire discomfort and no
more back fat. They began telling people and the word
got out. I never thought I would have a career making
bras, but I knew that if I loved this bra, there must
be other women who would want it too. So my husband,
David and I started on our journey to get my design
patented and manufactured. More than a year later, I’m
so proud and honored to bring to market, the first bra
of its kind…... THE UNBELIEVABRA!
